Breastfeeding Maine has brought us so much closer, not to mention the very special bond we share when lying down side by side, touching her hair, hands, legs whatever. I love those moments. After 1 year and 2 months, I guess it's about time I wean her off. But I'm afraid this is not going to be easy for both Maine and I. It'll be more stressful for her, as she won't be sleeping with me for the next couple of days, and no booby call for nap time and bedtime.
Day One:
It feels like I've got ROCK implants! (if you get what I mean). Not a very pleasant feel, especially when carrying Maine, it hurts. She slept with my sister last night, woke up twice and leaned over to my sis's boobs! She didn't realized it wasn't mommy until my sis called her name and said it's ahyi. Sorry, no boobs for comfort sucking.
By night, my boobs feels like exploding, It's as hard as a rock. Ouch, so much to endure. Hopefully, I will successfully wean Maine off this time, so long as I don't give in and give up. Mommy always give in. Will update again soon.

Wah! Your boobs get hard after one night of no sucking??? There must be something wrong with me then.....after one night I'm still OK. Maybe after 2 nights only, I start swelling....sure no milk leh. Dammit.

Erm, say one and a half day like that la..

No wor, didn't express it, cos it seems after days of engorgement then the boobs will begin to stop milk production, if keep expressing, the body will keep getting signal to produce milk. That's what I heard from experienced moms.
